18.09.2017 Michael Jackson New Album 'Scream' is on a way

Click to listen a new megamix bonus track 'Blood On Te Dance Floor X Dangerous'

Michael Jackson’s Estate along with Sony Music will release a new compilation album on CD and digitally on September 29th, followed by a glow-in-the-dark vinyl on October 27th. Both formats will include a collectible poster with which you can unlock an immersive augmented reality experience with your mobile phone.

The new album entitled ‘Scream’ has 14 tracks, which are made up of Michael’s most floor stomping hits from all his major albums (with the omission of ‘Off The Wall’), including some from The Jacksons and his union with Rockwell on ‘Somebody’s Watching Me’ from 1984.

It also includes a new megamix, which uses music from ‘Ghosts,’ ‘Blood On The Dance Floor,’ ‘Dangerous,’ ‘Heartbreak Hotel’ and ‘Leave Me Alone.’

The tracklist is as follows:

This Place Hotel
Blood On The Dance Floor
Somebody’s Watching Me
Dirty Diana
Leave Me Alone
Bonus Track: Blood On The Dance Floor X Dangerous (The White Panda Mash-Up)

Fans are also invited to official Michael Jackson ‘Scream’ album celebrations later this year. These will take place in six major cities around the world: Paris, London, Sydney, Berlin, Los Angeles, and Tokyo.

The events will include screenings of Michael’s seven short films from the ‘Scream’ album including the full-length 40 minute Michael Jackson’s ‘Ghosts,’ rarely seen following its initial screening at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival.

22.03.2017 Michael Jackson $825 Million 2016 Guinness Record!

Michael Jackson $825 million payday is the largest single-year sum racked up by any entertainer dead or alive.

The March sale of Michael Jackson’s half of the Sony/ATV music publishing catalog, famous for its library of Beatles tunes, for $750 million puts him at the top of our annual ranking of the top-earning dead celebrities, an ironic finish given that many critics and even advisors once derided the catalog as a badly overpriced investment. Jackson’s total pretax payday of $825 million ranks as the biggest annual haul by any celeb dead or alive.
“He was always doing stuff that was the best, the greatest, the biggest,” says Jeff Jampol, who manages the estates of Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and others. “That was a big fight when he wanted to buy that catalog … it turned out to be one of the greatest investments ever.”

In 1985, Jackson paid $47.5 million ($140 million in 2016 dollars) to buy the Beatles-packed ATV publishing catalog. Ten years later, Sony paid him $115 million to form a 50/50 joint venture, then purchased his remaining half in March. In all, the sales (and accompanying distributions) gave Jackson’s estate, which is overseen by lawyer John Branca and music exec John McClain, a 30% annualized return on investment.

Recently deceased superstars Prince and David Bowie also rank high on the list.
The Purple One passed away while still at the top of his touring game (grossing nearly $2 million per show) and sold more than 2.5 million albums over the past year, more than any other dead musician.

Bowie, meanwhile, released his final album, Blackstar, just two days before his death; the ensuing sales spike helped him outsell Jackson and Elvis Presley (No. 4, $27 million) in the last year.

Presley’s total represents a 50% drop from last year’s figure (a change in how we accounted for Graceland ticket sales, not plummeting demand, accounts for the change). The King of Rock n’ Roll still moved more than 1 million albums on the year—most of them physical, not digital—remarkable for someone who’s been gone for nearly 40 years.

As for Jackson, the Sony/ATV payday gives him the last laugh over doubters. But a decade ago, he already knew what a good deal he’d made, as detailed in my book Michael Jackson, Inc.

On a 2007 conference call, the King of Pop reminded Sony/ATV chief Marty Bandier of the acumen that had earned him a nine-figure return on paper by that point.
“See,” he told Bandier. “I told you I knew the music publishing business.”

13.10.2015 New 2015 Remix of 1983 Smash Hit Single 'Say Say Say'

New video of Paul McCartney and Michael’s 1983 Smash hit single 'Say Say Say'

•    New video launched on Tuesday October 6th, exclusively on Paul McCartney’s Facebook page to celebrate special revamped track featuring previously unheard vocals by Paul McCartney and MJ.
•    Voices of Paul and Michael swap positions in remix by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent
•    New dance video created by Sia and Lady Gaga collaborator Ryan Heffington to accompany 'Say Say Say [2015 Remix]'
Taken from the re-issue of Paul McCartney’s Pipes of Peace album.
'Say Say Say' is without doubt one of the all-time greatest musical collaborations in popular music. It is one of three tracks on which Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson worked together and was their biggest commercial success, topping the US Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks upon release in 1983 and going on to become one of the highest selling singles of all time.
The groundbreaking partnership of two of the biggest stars in the music world began with a phone call which Paul received out of the blue after Michael got hold of his personal number and called, suggesting they should collaborate.
Paul remembers: “He (Michael) rang me up, and I didn’t believe it was him, so I said, “Who’s this?” He said, ‘Michael’. ‘Are you sure… Michael who?!’. Anyway, we had a joke about that kind of thing, and he said, ‘Yeah, I’d like to come over and write with you’, so I said great. So he came over to England and we just sat down. I thought, well, it’s not easy to just sit down with anyone you don’t know and just write, start songwriting because you’ve got to get the chemistry right. But I thought, it is Michael - you know, I'll just try! If it doesn’t work, we'll just throw it away …”
Clearly, the magic worked between them and 'Say Say Say' resonated around the world. Indeed, such was the excitement about the duo that even the TV premiere of the video - in which they play a pair of travelling con merchants in the Wild West - was an appointment-to-view event in many countries. And now, 32 years after the original release, fans will have a fresh rush of excitement with a completely new mix of the track, prominently featuring alternative vocals from Paul and the late Michael which have never before been seen the light of day.
This version came about as Paul worked on the next stage of his extensive reissue collection – the Grammy Award-winning Paul McCartney Archive Series - earlier this year. While working on the remasters for 1983’s Pipes Of Peace album and accompanying bonus material at Abbey Road Studios in January 2015, Paul was listening to an instrumental remix of 'Say Say Say' by DJ John ‘Jellybean’ Benitez when he recalled there were unused vocals.
The original multi-track masters were located and Paul’s Chief Engineer at his studio in Sussex, Steve Orchard, along with Paul fused the unheard recordings to the Jellybean mix. The extended track – which stretches to seven minutes compared to the original single’s 3 minutes 56 seconds – was then given a further polish with a remix by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent, whose extensive resume' includes working with Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Coldplay.
Orchard says: “Paul remembered that there were two unused lead vocal performances by Michael and himself. He said we should try putting the unused lead vocals onto the Jellybean mix. The Jellybean mix is a 12" and is much longer than the original version. It was originally made by making edit sections of the song with different instruments being muted to make up new sections and then spliced together.
“I needed to edit and arrange the alternative lead vocals to fit the 12" format. We then rearranged the vocal sequence and inverted the original performance so that Michael opened the first verse instead of Paul, to give the song a different take to the original version. Then we added additional backing vocal parts from the original multi-track to further enhance the instrumental mix. Paul then said it would be great to get Spike Stent to mix the new version of the track to give the song a new vibe.”
And to celebrate the remix of 'Say Say Say', a new upbeat dance video has been created and was launched exclusively on Facebook today (Tuesday October 6th). Directed by the choreographer and performance artist Ryan Heffington – recently noted for his choreography work on Sia’s 'Chandelier' promo - and filmed in LA, the video follows a teenage boy on a journey through his neighborhood. The boy’s sense of optimism is infectious as he brings joy and stunning dance sequences  to those he encounters on his travels.
The track is part of the Pipes Of Peace 2-CD Special Edition, which is made up of the original album plus a nine-track bonus disc including outtakes, demos and other gems. The Deluxe Edition also includes a further DVD which features single promos and unreleased clips from Paul’s film archives. In addition there is a 2-LP vinyl edition as well as standard and hi-res digital versions. All formats are out now.

10.04.2014 New Michael Jackson Album Xscape

On 13th May, Epic Records, in conjunction with the Estate of Michael Jackson, will release Xscape, an album of new music by the internationally beloved music icon and King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

The project features eight new tracks, which the world will be hearing for the very first time on the new album. For the ultimate fan experience, Xscape will also be available in a Deluxe Edition, which includes all of the sourced Michael Jackson recordings in their original form. The Xscape standard and Deluxe Edition’s are available for pre-order beginning 1st April on and elsewhere, and available at all retailers worldwide on 13th May.

Xscape is executive produced by Epic Records Chairman and CEO L.A. Reid, who, after an initial mining of Jackson’s archives by the Estate, was granted unlimited access to the treasures representing four decades of material on which Jackson had completed his vocals.

Reid curated the final list of recordings to deliver to the producers, who retooled the production to add a fresh, contemporary sound that retains Jackson’s essence and integrity. It’s a process Reid calls “contemporizing.” The album’s lead producer, Timbaland was one of a handful of producers Reid believed had the gravitas, depth and range to creatively engage with Jackson’s work. Additional producers include global hitmakers Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, Jerome “Jroc” Harmon and John McClain.

“Modern music and artistry would look and sound completely different if not for the groundbreaking contributions Michael Jackson gifted to the world,” remarked L.A. Reid. “Michael left behind some musical performances that we take great pride in presenting through the vision of music producers that he either worked directly with or expressed strong desire to work with. We are extremely proud and honored to present this music to the world.”

The title of this album honors Michael’s album naming process. He always chose a song from the album to name his projects and, beginning with Thriller, used only one word titles, each with an edgy quality to them. This is true of the new project. Written by Michael Jackson and Jerkins, and produced by Jackson and Jerkins, “Xscape” has further significance in that it is the one track on the album that was ‘contemporized’ by the producer who recorded it originally in the studio with Michael.

John Branca and John McClain, co-executors of the Estate of Michael Jackson said,

“Michael was always on the cutting edge and was constantly reaching out to new producers, looking for new sounds. He was always relevant and current. These tracks, in many ways, capture that spirit. We thank L.A. Reid for his vision.”

Xscape is a long awaited collection of exciting new music that will thrill the legions of fans of one of the world’s most revered and best-selling artists, as well as attract a whole new generation discovering his artistry for the first time. In conjunction with the release of Xscape, Epic / Sony Music will launch an unprecedented global campaign with the One Sony sister companies, Sony Corporation, Sony Mobile Communications, and Sony Network Entertainment International drawing from all of Sony’s strengths and consumer reach.

“Michael has long been a treasured member of the larger Sony family,” said Kazuo Hirai, President and CEO, Sony Corporation. “Starting with the release of ‘Off The Wall’ in 1979, Sony Music Entertainment has since released all of Michael’s recordings. We are thrilled and privileged to be collaborating as One Sony to celebrate Michael’s latest legacy, and bringing his fans an exclusive experience through our upcoming initiatives with our products and services.”

10.10.2011 Michael Jackson Tribute Show In Wales - 8th Of October 2011

Michael Jackson Tribute in Cardiff - fantastic show, great sound, great voices and best music!

We just came back from Wales and finally can make a review of the show. It was absolutely fantastic 4 hours concert, we so enjoyed our time in Wales. We hope this show will be officially released on DVD & BLURAY in 3D. Yes, everything was filmed in 3D, so fingers crossed. It's definitely worth to have this concert in your home video collection. Guys, it was brilliant !!!

Christina Aguilera Performs MJ's 'Dirty Diana' LIVE! - Simply Amazing:

CARDIFF, Wales (AP) — Chart-toppers, soul singers and three generations of Michael Jackson's family including his children celebrated the King of Pop at an energetic tribute concert Saturday, urging fans to focus on the late star's music rather than his death.

The run-up to the "Michael Forever" concert was overshadowed by the Los Angeles manslaughter trial of Jackson's doctor, and marred by fan criticism, sluggish ticket sales and dissension within the Jackson family.

But once the 4 hours show started, Michael Jackson's musical genius, and the warm tributes of friends and family, carried the night.

"We're very happy to be here on this special night to honor our father," said Jackson's 13-year-old daughter Paris, who made a brief onstage appearance alongside brothers Prince, 14, and 9-year-old Michael Joseph Jr., known as Blanket.

The children wore outfits evoking their father's famous styles — Paris most strikingly, in a red and black "Thriller" style jacket. Blanket stood stoic and shy, but the older children smiled and appeared confident in the spotlight.

On a stage shaped like a giant glove, musicians including Christina Aguilera, Gladys Knight and Cee Lo Green performed songs from across Jackson's career — from his childhood with the Jackson 5 through monster solo albums like "Thriller" and "Bad."

The Black Eyed Peas, pulled out of the lineup this week, citing "unavoidable circumstances."

Participants urged fans to ignore the criticism and controversy, and to revel in the celebration of Jackson's musical legacy.

"It's not about the controversy," said R&B star Ne-Yo, who kicked off the show with a rendition of "Billie Jean," complete with some passable moonwalking. "It's not about the trial. It's not about his death. It's about celebrating his life. It's about celebrating his music."

The 50,000-strong crowd at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium did just that, roaring with approval as Jackson's brothers Marlon, Tito and Jackie — three-fifths of the original Jackson 5 — took the stage to perform "Blame It On the Boogie" with British boyband JLS.

"Can you feel his spirit in the house tonight?" asked Marlon. Judging by the cheers, the fedora hats and the sequined gloves in the audience, many could.

"This is a great counter-act to that," said Motown great Smokey Robinson about tribute show, who gave a soulful rendition of "She's Out of My Life." ''And it gives people something happy to do, rather than thinking about what's going on in the trial."

The show mined a rich trove of Jackson hits. Leona Lewis crooned "I'll Be There," Beyonce delivered the early single "I Wanna Be Where You Are" and Jamie Foxx performed "Rock With You." Aguilera sang Charlie Chaplin's "Smile" — one of Jackson's favorite songs and delivered breathtaking performance of the great Jackson song "Dirty Diana".

"Tonight is a history lesson," Foxx told the crowd. "We're going to cover five decades of greatness."

The show reached a climax with Knight performing the poignant "Gone Too Soon" before a rousing finale that brought most of the performers — and the Jackson children — back onstage for the exuberant "Don't Stop Til' You Get Enough."

The concert has divided the King of Pop's family and followers. The three brothers, sister La Toya and vocal group 3T — composed of three of Michael's nephews — all performed, while 81-year-old matriarch Katherine Jackson was in the audience.

But Michael's brothers Jermaine and Randy and sister Janet have stayed away, saying it is wrong to hold the show at the same time as Murray's trial.

Before the show, Marlon Jackson said he respected his siblings' decision, but said he was sure Michael would have approved. "Each one of us grieves differently," he said. "We want to celebrate the positive side of his life, the positive things that he did."

And those who came to Cardiff said it was a fitting antidote to the grim courtroom spectacle in Los Angeles.

"There's a lot of negativity in that courtroom," said Ronnie Lee, a 32-year-old truck driver from Pembroke, Wales, sporting a "Thriller" T-shirt. "This is a chance to say, 'Thank you Michael' and celebrate the music."

"It was amazing," a 26-year-old fan said. "I actually cried three or four times."
